As an Apprentice Placement & Industry Engagement Consultant, you’ll connect apprentices and trainees with meaningful host placements across the building and construction and defence industries. You’ll build strong relationships with host employers, understand workforce needs and proactively secure placement opportunities. Your focus is minimising downtime for our apprentices and trainees and ensuring smooth, continuous progression, whilst proactively gaining an understanding of host employers’ future workforce requirements. With a mix of high-energy employer engagement and coordination behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a team culture that is collaborative, supportive and driven by shared success. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with host employers through regular outbound contact to build and maintain strong industry relationships and understand workforce needs.
- Secure and coordinate apprentice placements to ensure apprentices are consistently engaged in meaningful on-site employment or attending trade school.
- Proactively manage placement continuity, minimising downtime by identifying rotation, redeployment and new placement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Supervisors, Talent, RTO and support teams) to align apprentice needs with employer capacity and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting, including apprentice profiles, placement documentation, data integrity and system updates.

Experience in call centre, administration, customer service, sales or account management Proven success in outbound phone engagement Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills Excellent time management and attention to detail
