Apprentice & Trainee Coordinator About the business: PEER is an industry-based Group Training Organisation (GTO) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO), employing Apprentices in the: electrical, plumbing, data communications, air conditioning and refrigeration fields, in addition to providing Business Administration Trainees. With a strong local brand and multi award-winning track record, PEER delivers quality services to Apprentices, Students and Employers. About the role: In accordance with the PEER Academy and PEER core values, the Apprentice & Trainee Coordinator will guide and mentor our Apprentice’s development journey, whilst creating strong relationships with host employers. This involves: on-site meetings to conduct performance reviews, gaining host and Apprentice feedback and ensure Workplace Health and Safety is maintained. Mentoring a portfolio of Apprentices and Trainees, will require managing a range of issues, including an ability to think on your feet, initiating tough conversations, whilst demonstrating care and empathy. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor Apprentice progression, through regular visits and contact
- Liaise closely with training staff to ensure Apprentices have a positive training experience
- Build relationships and liaise with host employers and apprentice supervisors to grow PEER’s business
- Sell full PEER product & service offer to new and existing clients
- Rotate Apprentices as required, so they receive the best possible overall skill set
- Support recruitment, induction and sales
- Support Apprentices in the development and improvement of their professional and personal wellbeing
- Report on key business functions concerning your role
- Assist in seeking in new Host opportunities in growth markets

- Confident individual, with a strong commitment to superior customer service
- A proven ability to meet deadlines and reporting requirements
- Understanding the importance of Workplace Health and Safety
- Experience within a trade or blue-collar environment
