PEER is an industry-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) & Group Training Organisation (GTO) that employs and trains over 400 of the highest quality candidates for apprenticeships in electrical, plumbing, data communications, air conditioning and refrigeration fields, as well as providing traineeships in business administration.

Every year, PEER provides training to more than 200 school students and up to 500 apprentices and upskills more than 3,500 tradespeople. An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join this dynamic organisation.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities:

 

The key responsibility for Casual First Aid Trainers is to deliver up to Certificate III in:

HLTAID001 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

HLTAID002 – Provide basic emergency life support

HLTAID003 – Provide first aid

 

Having the following is an advantage:

  • UETTDRRF06B - Perform rescue from a live LV panel
  • UETTDRRF10B - Provide first aid in an ESI environment being advantage

Skills and experience:

 

We are looking for someone who is customer service focused. You will have a track record in inspiring, supporting, motivating people and fostering a positive, creative and rewarding culture.

 

In addition, you must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have experience working within a quality standards framework environment.

 

A minimum qualification of TAE40116 Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. Demonstrated current vocational experience and current Child Safe Environments and DCSI clearance.
