About the Role:

 

As a Business Trainee, you will receive quality 'on-the-job' training and support throughout your twelve month Traineeship.  This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Business Administration.   Off Job Training provided by our industry partner RTO Code: 40058.

  • Ideal opportunity for recent school levers wanting to start their admin career
  • 38 hours per week
  • 12 month Traineeship
  • Full training and support provided

 

To become a PEER Trainee, you need to:

  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Hold a current drivers licence
  • Have your own reliable car
  • Be prepared to undergo drug and alcohol screening
  • Be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
  • Have completed Year 11 or 12
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Be committed to a nominal 12 month training contract to achieve Certificate III in Business Traineeship (BSB30115)

 

To become a successful PEER Trainee, you need to:

  • Ideally have some prior employment history

In return you will:

  • Be provided a mentor that will support you throughout your traineeship
  • Have 12 months of job security
  • Obtain a qualification upon successful completion of training
  • Earn while you learn

 

Duties will be varied and may include:

  • Providing administrative support to office team
  • Taking phone calls and messages
  • Booking, scheduling and following up jobs and service calls
  • Liaising with customers, tradespeople and suppliers
  • Processing invoices and accounts
  • Providing accurate information relating to services
  • Entering job notes
  • Manage service jobs from start to finish
