Placements Lead
Be the glue between our apprentices and trainees and our host employers

At PEER, we’re committed to creating meaningful employment pathways for apprentices and trainees. We’re seeking a relationship-driven Placements Lead to connect apprentices and trainees with host employers and ensure consistent, productive placements.

About the Role

This is a high-energy, phone-based role focused on:

  • Daily high-volume outbound calls to host employers

  • Building and managing strong employer relationships

  • Identifying placement, rotation and redeployment opportunities

  • Minimising apprentice/trainee stand downs

  • Ensuring apprentices are either on-site with host employers or progressing through trade school

Afternoons focus on administration, documentation, profiling, reporting and data integrity to support successful placements.

You’ll work closely with Apprentice & Trainee Supervisors, Recruitment, Trainers and leadership to drive strong outcomes across PEER’s GTO and RTO operations.

About You

Essential:

  • Experience in administration, customer service, sales or account management

  • Proven success in high-volume outbound phone engagement

  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent time management and attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience in building or construction, defence, GTO/RTO environments or working with apprentices/trainees
