PEER is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join our Quality & Compliance department. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the organisation’s quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement framework across the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Group Training Organisation (GTO). Key Responsibilities: Lead Quality and Compliance Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with all regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements. Manage Audits and Regulatory Requirements Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain audit readiness, and manage compliance obligations and corrective actions. Drive Continuous Improvement and Risk Management Monitor performance, manage compliance risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Provide Governance and Reporting Maintain compliance documentation and deliver accurate reporting on quality, compliance and risk matters to Executive and Board stakeholders. Lead Stakeholder Engagement and Capability Development Provide guidance and training on quality and compliance requirements, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Support Quality Training and Employment Outcomes Work collaboratively with leaders, trainers, field officers, host employers and external stakeholders to ensure quality training, employment and learner outcomes. About You
You are an experienced quality and compliance professional with a strong track record of leading quality assurance frameworks and driving continuous improvement within complex, regulated environments. Ideally, you bring experience from the vocational education and training, apprenticeship, group training, or ISO quality sectors and are confident navigating regulatory requirements and compliance obligations. You have a sound understanding of the Standards for RTOs, funded training contracts, and apprenticeship and traineeship systems, coupled with experience managing audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory relationships. Your ability to identify risks, implement practical solutions, and maintain robust governance frameworks enables you to support organisational success while ensuring compliance. A natural leader, you can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, build strong working relationships, and develop high-performing teams. You are highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented, with excellent written communication skills and the ability to develop policies, reports, and compliance documentation to a high standard. To be successful in this role, you will have: - A relevant tertiary qualification in governance, risk management, quality, business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in a quality and compliance role or a similar position.
- Demonstrated experience leading quality assurance, compliance, audit, and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management skills.
- A high level of integrity, professional judgement, and commitment to achieving quality outcomes.
