PEER are looking for an energetic, detail orientated, organised, customer service focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making an impact on a business with a strong culture in a supportive environment.

 

Part time 24 - 30 hours per week (Across 4 or 5 days) 

 

$70,000 - $75,000 + super FTE

 

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, as a People & Culture Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our people across the employee lifecycle. From issuing letters of offers and coordinating onboarding, assisting with inductions, training and compliance to managing employment documentation and employee records, you’ll help keep our people processes running smoothly and ensure our employees have a positive experience from the start.

Working closely with our internal teams, you’ll bring strong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach to a varied role. You’ll also contribute to HR projects, process improvements and initiatives that help strengthen our workplace culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the employee lifecycle including onboarding, induction, changes to employment and offboarding.
Prepare employment documentation, including letters of offer, contracts, extensions, secondments and probation outcomes.
Coordinate training and compliance, ensuring employee and apprentice/trainee records, accreditations and requirements are kept up to date.
Provide responsive HR support, maintaining confidential records and assisting employees with people-related queries.
Support HR initiatives and improvements, contributing to projects that enhance processes, systems and the employee experience.
 

About You

You’re organised, people focused and ready to build your career in People & Culture. You could be a recent HR graduate looking for your first opportunity, returning to the workforce after a career break, or already have experience in HR administration and excited for your next step.

You’ll bring strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and the confidence to work across a busy organisation while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office, have strong organisational and time management skills, and be comfortable juggling competing priorities in a busy environment. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a professional and approachable manner, and the ability to build positive relationships with people across all levels of the organisation.

You’ll ideally have experience in HR administration or coordination, a good understanding of contemporary HR practices and employment obligations, and enjoy being the person others can rely on to keep things running smoothly.

 

What You'll Need

Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
Current Driver's Licence.
